Doreen Grasso, BIARI’s Education and Program Manager, will highlight the journey of brain injury prevention throughout the continuum of life. From childhood to later in life, it is important to know the mechanisms of how people obtain brain injuries and how they may be prevented. This is especially important as we age, for the senior population has the highest rates of TBI. Doreen will lend some perspective about the intersectionality of brain injury throughout life, with a focus on what factors most affect our senior population.
